Little Miss Sunshine - 6 months

 Cute toes
Tay has started reaching for us :D
 I love this face...
 and of course her smile...
is adorable.
hmmm...not sure where this face came from.
 relaxin' and a rollin'.
I don't always get my camera out bc I want nothing between me and those smiles.

I am not going to lie...Taylor is at a funky age to photograph. They get so excited and flap their arms around like the are a chicken. They get so focused to make sure they will not fall over while sitting up that their face looks ridiculous. They don't know where to just push on on their arms, get up on all fours and do the "I'm trying to crawl move" or roll over so they can be on their back and get to something of interest. With all that being said, I think I finally captured some natural photos of Tay that are not all studio style. I keep trying to make a little studio set up and I just gag over the photos I get and delete them...some are cute, but it is not me, not my style. Taylor loves rolling around on my bed, so I think I might keep pulling my camera out to play, learn and capture her pure adorableness!

Pictures of Connor, coming soon. He is a hard one to photograph as he loves to say cheese to whatever is away from the camera. UGH. Little does he know he will soon be my model for everything until he no longer is living under my roof ;D.

Tay...6 months old.

 Happy 1/2 Birthday To You!!!
Big Brother helped blow out the candles
We only blew out half of a candle ;D
Tay might not understand how wonderful brownies and ice cream are,
but her big kid friends sure do :D

Any excuse to eat yummy brownies made by Grandma Tracy! Today we had to celebrate Taylor's half birthday like we did for Connor. Both Gramma's were here, Aunt Bebe, Auntie Lauren and Abigail...a fun little partay to spoil our dinner ;D.
I can not believe Taylor is 6 months...These months have gone by so fast, have been a lot of fun, a hard challenge with two, but the most rewarding job in the world. I love each day day with this little girl. I am so glad we have her the middle name of Sunshine as she is full of smiles and brightens up all of our lives. She has been sitting up for a while, eating rice cereal, apples, pears, bananas, avocado, squash, yogurt...and some fro yo here and there ;D. She is sitting up unassisted, rolling over both directions, gave a wave to Auntie Kendy last week, a screamer and talker, and she wants to crawl so badly...she has just started the forward backward motion up on her knees. She is perfect, we love having a daughter and little sister!

We adopted.

Meet Sundberg
 He loves to play fetch
 Good boy.
 "Sit"
 "We are best friends"
 Running together
Awww....

As of yesterday morning, I received a phone call on my way to UCLA that I could pick up Sundberg. He was at a kennel in Rowland Heights. After Connor's doctor appointment, I stopped at Petco and picked up a collar, leash, bowl and food. When we got to the kennel, I thought I was going to cry, it was so sad to see all the dogs in the rainy cold weather barking wanting to go home with a family like us. My mom, Connor, Taylor and I picked up Sundberg put him in our car and drove back home. He was such a sweet boy, resting on my mom and sleeping all the way home. He was very very very excited to be at our house...sniffing every inch of our home, running in the back yard and asking for lots of love! The rescue group we got him from said we have two weeks to decide if we want to keep him, but I think we have made our decision already...as long as he keeps his manners. ;D

Oma's Pumpkin Patch

 Dig Dig Dig!!!
 Cotton Seed Slide
Tractor ride with some of our favorite friends :D
My girl! I just love her!!!!
Gramma could never be a farm girl...she almost threw up!
"Look Tay!"
 Awwwwwwwwwww
 Holding on tight
Running so fast in the down poor of rain!!!
 Abigail and her Baby Tator!

Yesterday, my mom and I headed to the pumpkin patch for some fun before the rain hit, well not quite...the rain came down so stinkin' hard on us at the end that we were soaked and muddy (no pics, I was afraid my camera was going to drowned!).

2010 Horseshoe Champs

Horseshoes and Hotdogs was an awesome day!!! Please read more and see more pictures at Connor's Vision The hosts, Brittinny, Lori, Kendy and Cindy did an outstanding job putting on such a fun event. It really hit home for me that day how incredibly lucky our family is. I have known forever that we have amazing friends, I was in complete shock the day Lori and Brittinny presented us with just the beginning of Connor's vision fund, I was so thankful for our friend, Kori, to put on a yoga fundraiser and was sad I missed it because of pregnancy, so this was the first event I had been too. There is something so powerful about a gathering of people in one place. I was overwhelmed when I showed up to see so many people at the horseshoe pits out to have a good time and so importantly support our little man's medical expenses. I wish so badly that Connor understood why everyone was there. We have started a scrapbook for him, so one day he will be able to look back and understand it all. I don't know how I can ever express how thankful we are for this fund and the presence of each and every one of you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for coming to throw some shoes or chasing your kiddos around while eating yummy food at the horseshoe pits :)

Yum. Yum.

Taylor so excited to try Rice Cereal from Daddy
She made the yucky face, but continued to eat the whole bowl.
 Big Brother helped feed her
"MORE FACE"
Connor would make the more face as a little guy to tell us he wanted more,
now we are trying to teach Tay :D

Taylor is a little over five months...she has tried otter pop (it was a really hot day!), yogurt, banana, and loves to gnaw on an apple slice. It is so such different raising a second child, but we are going to get on track to start teaching her about food...such a fun new stage!
