1st Offical Day of Preschool

Connor had his first day of preschool last week! :'( I had tears...tears of happiness, tears of a proud mommy as he was so brave and excited to be a big boy and go to school. However, there were some tears that I feel like the baby years go by way to fast! I want to enjoy it even more!
Connor was trying out this preschool over summer. He LOVES it. The teacher is the same one who taught his Spanish classes, so an easy transition for him. His preschool is Spanish speaking as well, only speaking English if a child is not understanding specific instructions. He is going to have to teach his momma some Spanish ;D.

A Weekend with Grandma & Papa.

 DISNEYLAND!
Sue and I had a blast in the Haunted Mansion,
the kids...not so much.
Ending the wrong end of her lolli...
no wonder we got it everywhere and all in her hair.
 Connor's favorite...Buzz Lightyear ride
 Autopia!!!
 Yellow Submarine :D
 Sleepy girl.
Actually, this rollercoaster might be his favorite.
He keeps his hands up the whole time.
Connor is obsessed with these train tracks in Toon Town.
He would follow them for hours, if it was up to him.
A super fun, perfect day!
The next morning, I hiked Ontario Peak with these billy goats!
It was an awesome challenge and fun company.
 LA COUNTY FAIR.
Grandma, Candace and Tay

 Another rollercoaster.
His very first ride, ALONE. ALL BY HIMSELF.
Ekk...my lil boy is growing up.
Grandma bought the kids ladybugs.
Their new home is in our garden!

It was such a busy weekend together, but filled with so much fun. Sunday I locked myself in Sue's office and worked all day. However, I enjoyed listening to the kids eat popsicles, play outside and plant new flowers in Grandma's yard. They are spoiled with love! Thanks Grandma & Papa!

Family Comes to Town.

Our blackout was spent with lanterns, fudgesicles and lots of  glow sticks!
 The view from the boat!
My Dad, bro and I went for a long swim!
My family came into town for the weekend and it was a bit unusual. The blackout of SD was quite fun...we shopped at Nordstrom Rack with cell phone lights...haha! We ate lots of popsicles because I was worried they would all go to waste ;D and we opened up all of our boxes of glow sticks and decorated ourselves! It was good times.
It was also the weekend to fulfill Mom's wish and spread her ashes in the ocean. It was a beautiful day, a peaceful boat ride and perfect ceremony. The last day, we all spent the day at the ocean with her...a perfect way to end the weekend together.

Pictures in the Park.

Tay LOVES her sippy cup, she is my milk belly girl.
Her lips pierced around the nozzle until it is empty...i love it.
 There was no harm done,
he really was giving her a squeeze hug.
I love these two more and more everyday!
They have become best friends and love each other to the moon.

I love pictures. I have not blogged any of this in two months. Some of these were taking the last week of July and I had forgotten the things we have done. Some days have been a fog, a blur...many of them we have stayed at home, but we have had our share of fun. Each day I feel a bit better, a little stronger and have really tried to focus on my kids...filling their lives with love and happiness as that is what my mom would want the most. We have had many cries too, Connor is a hugger, a lover and always reminds me that it is okay and he is here for me. He is SO sweet. We all miss Grandma...talk to her often, look at pictures of her and blow her kisses. Most of all, we are thankful she looks down on us seeing the kids smile and hearing their laugther.
