Connor's 1st Shiner

Connor thought it would be a good idea to floor a motorized atv down some stairs at a friends house. This was the result! He cried for a few minutes and then went about smiling and playing! He is one tough little kiddo.

Love. Love. Love.

Connor giving sister a ride!
Taylor practicing her Miss America wave during her tour of the backyard.
 We love feet :D
The most unattractive picture, but its REAL!
The boys walking the OB wall checking the surf.
Connor: "You play Percy, I will play Thomas"

When Mike and I got married (three years ago tomorrow) I thought I could never experience more love than I did on our wedding day. When we had Connor, I felt a love I had never experienced before. When we had Taylor, I felt a different type of love for a little girl and believed I had all the love in my life I could ever have now that I have my boy and my girl. I thought wrong. My love of our family continues to grow...I am overwhelmed and so thankful as nobody ever really tells you what its like to have your very own family. I absolutely love the stage of Connor and Taylor interacting...Connor talking to her like she understands everything and is really playing with him, Taylor smiling and cooing back at him. Their love for each other melts my heart. Today I can not imagine experiencing more happiness and love for my family, but I am sure there is more...

A Day On the Train

Connor and Taylor holding hands while Grandma reads them a book!
Not really...My mom and I set out to take Connor on a train ride and we missed the train by 30 seconds! Due to Comicon there was no parking anywhere in Old Town Train Station...it was packed, so after finding a parking spot 30 minutes later, running to catch the train, it pulled away as we stood at the door :( Connor pointed to the Lorax trolley (one of our favorite books) and said look at that train, so we went on a Train ride taking the Lorax Trolley to Santee. When you promise a 2 year old a train ride, you got to do something right? It turned out to be a really fun day! We had snack time, colored some train pages, read Thomas the Train ABC book, and played with trains on the train. We got off in Santee and went to Barnes and Noble - we read some more train books, played with the train table and then went out for some lunch. Connor got this special rice krispie treat to eat on the way home. He was asleep within 15 seconds of getting into the car to go home! What a fun morning with lots of laughs...thanks for the adventure mom!

Super Underwear Man!

Connor is not so sure on using the potty all the time, but he sure does love his underwear :D He insisted on wearing them all day over his jeans...We did not leave the house that day :D. He made some brownies though in them and I have to say they are the best he has ever made!

Beach Time.

Swimming in the pool with Tim and Lucy in the rain

We had an awesome weekend in Santa Barbara. It was Sam and Lucy's birthday partay so a great excuse to make a trip to SB. We stayed with awesome friends, The Christensen's. Kaeley is the greatest baker of all time and wonderful cook. We were spoiled :D! It was a relaxing and beautiful weekend visiting old friends. Sad I did not take more pictures (don't go on vacation with two dead batteries).

Strawberry Fields

U-Pick Em - Carlsbad Strawberry Fields
Pick One. Dump It Out.
Dropped the bucket. It is more fun to run.
Joe was a fast picker.
The bucket is cooler as a hat.
It is more fun to jump in the ditches.
Mmmm...The bucket is perfect for the green part.
I think this was the biggest one he ate.
Cheers!
Yummy!
 Sweetness.
The bucket is perfect to fill with dirt. Only boys :D
Connor and Joe sitting in a ditch eating strawberries
 One happy and dirty boy
 Dirty hugs! :D
Hopefully the pictures tell the story of the day. It was so much fun to play at the strawberry fields with our friends. Connor never really filled the bucket up...he did some serious pickin' for about 15 minutes because I told him we need to take some home to Dad. Even during that time he had to have one in his mouth at all times.
