Not exactly what I had in mind...

This is the result of bribing with candy :)
I feel like every weekend I can capture the cutest shots of other kids...I edit photos and sometimes think selfishly, I wish this was of my family. (I guess it is a good thing that I like my work.) This weekend I tried to take photos of the kids, inspired by Taylor's super cool new Surf Champ hoodie...HA, this is what I got.

Bye Dr. Lee

Connor & Dr. Lee - We are going to miss her!
We love Slip & Slide
Last week we were at UCLA and had to say good bye to our favorite doctor. :( Dr. Lee was such a wonderful doctor to work with. She was so patient with Connor, made the visits fun (he taught her about excavators ;D!), she was always there to listen and encourage us to stay strong and not give up with his contacts. Contacts has been a very hard transition for our family and especially Connor, I am so glad Dr. Lee was there for us and pray that we will develop a great relationship with our new contact lens doctor. It is wonderful Gramma Big Ball was there to help out. It makes for a better trip to UCLA and is always fun to have a slumber party at her house :D Connor was spoiled at Toys "R" Us after our doctor visit. It was 100 degrees at her house, so we needed a water toy for sure, I picked out a slip and slide (hehe) and it was SO much fun for the both of us! Connor picked out his birthday present, the backhoe! He LOVES it, but needs to go to driving school badly or quickly learn how to repair fences ;D!

Genetic Testing

Connor is one tough little man. We went for blood work tonight to start his Genetic Testing for Stickler's Syndrome. He was nervous to go into the office, but once he sat on my lap - he was good. Not a single tear, only a few ouch's. He got pricked in both arms because he moved, but once ice cream was mentioned he was doing alright. He is proud of his blue circles (on his arms) for being a good boy at the doctor :) We are back to the waiting game as it will take 4-8 weeks to receive results from these tests. Thanks for all your support...

Friends

Taylor and Malia hanging out at the beach
Holding hands
 Talking to each other
Evan and Connor playing train at the ocean
This is a hug and it makes me laugh! Not sure what they were thinking.
Life would not be the same without friends. We are so thankful to have such awesome friends! It is very fun to see these four kids growing up together...We love you Jimenez Fam!

Miss Taylor

She loves to pull up her dress and eat it
When she gets very focused and she curls up her right toes
A close up of her cute toes
I left the room for one second and this is what I found when I came back :D
Connor informed me they were going to take a nap

Taylor is almost four months...She brings so much joy to our family. Connor loves his "baby sister" - loves it when she laughs at him, smiles at him, looks at him, talks to him, and plays with him. She loves him too - Connor has hit her, bite her, body slammed her, headbutted her - most the time she smiles, kicks her legs with excitement and interacts with him by pulling his hair and glasses. I get so sad, but Taylor just takes it and loves him. Mike and I are enjoying how happy and smiley she always is! She is talking so much, I just love her little squeals, that are sometimes very, very loud.

Future Sailor?

These were the cutest little sail boats at the bay last week. Connor had fun with his friends checking them out...Maybe he will one day be a sailor :D

USS Midway

A focused Commanding Officer
 Trainer Pilot
Co-Pilots :D
Mike with full sound effects :D
Danger :D
Buckling up for take off on the helicopter
Daddy and Connor in the helicopter
Yesterday we decided to take a trip onto the USS Midway. We fit in perfectly with all the other tourists, taking pictures, listening to our audio tapes and reading all the signs. It was so fun to explore and learn about this aircraft carrier, even though it was done at a fast toddler pace :).
