Double Fisting

Connor and I went to sit out on the porch to eat a popsicle...He insisted to eat mine as well - I got one bite of the orange and he did not want to let me have another ;). I think a week of rashes, pink eye, cough and a horrible runny nose he deserved both.

Hanging around the house.

Connor loves to play the Ukelele

Loves it when you play the Uke and sing to him.

Can sit and read books for a good 20 minutes.

I think he is trying to tell us something?
What business do you think he will start?

Da Boys...coloring with new rock crayons from Gramma Tracy

Everyday is awesome...Connor is always sharing a new something with us. He is talking so much and entertaining himself a lot. Our life now completely revolves around him and we enjoy each moment as it beings out the kid in us again!

I have yet to read my manual to my new camera, but these pictures were captured today as I was playing around :0) I love it.

Photographer of the Year

The Mentor.
By: Connor Perry

The Classic Self Portrait
By: Connor Perry

Every photographer's child has to learn the love of a camera at some point in their life. Today was the day, waiting in the doctors office for way too long. I was so proud of him as you can tell. There was no editing done to these photos. It will be a long time before I let him get his cute little fingerprints on my very loved Mac. Pretty good composition if you ask me, for being a first timer and only a few days shy of 14 months.

When I grow up I want to be...

1st day of fingerpaints

he was excited to have paint all over himself...
he wanted to paint his belly instead of the paper.

...an ARTIST! :0)
Today Connor and I got out the fingerpaints that I bought him when he was only 7 months old. It's never too early to practice, right? He only tried to eat it once and realized he did not like the taste, he painted himself, me and the kitchen table. It was awesome...He is starting young and is going to grow up and be mega talented like his Uncle Mike, so I hope.

Concert in the Park

Smiles.

I love my lil man.

Cheese.

He knows how to get into everything now.

My little climber.

We took our little musician and head banger to concerts in the park last night. As you could guess, he loved it! So did mom and dad- free date, drinking wine and enjoying appetizers to live music - woohoo!
Connor has decided it is fun to see what he can climb on - So as I was packing everything to go to the park, he managed to climb up this bean bag chair, stand up and play with everything he could reach and then climb up on the desk to reach everything else. How would he have gotten down if I was not there? Hmmm.....We will never know as now we follow him everywhere he goes!

Eye Surgery

Cute Bum in his hospital gown

Happy as can be before surgery.

I think he likes his new clothing attire.

Even George got a bracelet.

George stayed with Connor through it all.

Daddy giving Connor love after surgery.

This boy ate three popsicles.

Our little man was so strong and did awesome during his eye surgery! The SleepDoc took Connor and he did not even fuss...However I did...Thank God for my amazing hubby to hold my hand. The surgery was super quick without any complications. After about 40 minutes we got to see him, but he was super sleepy and slept for 2 and half hours! Mike and I just held him while Gramma T brought more love, some coffee and breaky. Once Connor woke up he was a bit angry (so sad). Popsicles did the trick and he felt much better!
Connor is doing awesome at home. His eyes are a bit swollen and really red, but should clear in 6 days. He is wearing his glasses and we will start the patch again tomorrow.
This surgery was to correct his strabismus. He will continue to wear his glasses and patch his eyes to strengthen the muscle. We will keep you updated as he has appointments each week for the next few weeks. Thank you so much for all your love, support, prayers, texts and gifts for Connor - You all mean so much to us!

Little Fishy

Connor loved the warm ocean water in Kauai! He would charge the waves, letting them take him down at times! He is a little fishy out of water...

Kauai

King Tut on our Hike

Taking a snack break!

Learning to throw rocks in the river.

I can do it all by myself.

YAY!

Blowing Bubbles in the River

We were all tired by the end!

Connor made friends very easily in Kauai.

Yum....Coconut milk.

Fresh Coconut.

Kauai was amazing! We had a wonderful trip of swimming, surfing, hiking, playing in the sand and soaking up the sun...Better yet, we had amazing friends with us every moment of our trip to make it even more memorable and FUN! Thanks to Mike O., Erica and their awesome neighbors for being amazing hosts!!! They made us feel at home and make it so much easier to travel with Connor man!
Connor learned a lot on the trip...my favorite - CHEERS! (He takes his sippy cup of water and his one with milk and cheers with himself!), talking lots - he had many conversations with Aunties and Uncles on the trip, his new words are grape, apple, hat and hot.
I am going to post many more pictures, so keep posted!
