Obsession...Connor? Camera? Both?

Like Father Like Son.

Running!

Of course, I am printing this!

Explorer!

i am boy. i love sticks.

moms glasses.

i am so bummed this is blurry, but i love love it, so i had to share.
look how happy my boys are!

Connor is growing so quickly! Mike and I took him to the park yesterday and he just took off running! He did not care to play with us... he wanted down and he wanted to explore on his own. He found trash on the ground, cool sticks, a new girlfriend...He had so much fun! I am posting lots of pics for the grandparents to make up for last week ;)

Surfing 101

MHO Art

Connor, can you show me how you get barreled?

Perfect stance.
Someone is going to be regular foot just like mom and dad!

Trying to practice on his own.

Dad taught him how to use a comb to strip all the wax.

Future Ripper.

Its never too young to learn the basics of anything. Thanks to Uncle Mike Oliver and our sick painting....Connor has learned the beauty of a wave and how to get barreled. When we look at the painting we say "Get barreled!" and Connor will throw his little arm up over his head and smile! Pretty cute. Its every parents dream for their kids to grow up loving what you enjoy...we hope Connor will grow up with a love for surfing!

Let the Countdown Begin.

Playing from the outside.

I had been trying to get him to go in, but he did not want to.
He was entertained by taking the water out with a cup and pouring it on himself.

Running around the front yard all wet!

One month from today Connor is going to be the big 1!!!! This year is going by fast. I have been bad at posting, but its because I have been bad at taking photos - I have gotten my camera out once since Easter. The weather was mighty hot for a few days, so we put the new blow up swimming pool to great use and of course I had to get the camera out for that. It brings back awesome memories of when I was a little one.
My new favorite...Connor throws his own diaper away after I change him. Don't ask how I taught him - He is a great HELPER!

Easter Egg Hunt.

Playing with Gram on the beach

Talking away.

Dad helping Connor find eggs.

Yummy sandy snacks!

Sharing his eggs with Gramma and Grandpa

Yesterday we tried to take Connor to an Easter egg hunt that was a flop....out of 17,000 stuffed eggs, Connor got zero - not too much fun! But what is better than your very own egg hunt on the beach! Connor really did not understand what is going on anyways...he just like the fact that every bright toy on the beach made a fun noise when you shake it and contained yummy snacks!

The Easter Bunny Came.

Hmmm...Who won this wrestling match?

Feeding himself Breakfast...
which by the way he is trying so hard to say!

WOW! A big Easter Basket.

Is this for me?

Sand toys....just what I needed!

I love Easter Eggs!

Gramma helping with the process of opening.

My first pair of big boy shoes.

They fit!!!

My cool new dino chair for the beach!

Everybody loves some bunny.

Connor was spoiled by the Easter Bunny! He got three Easter baskets...one arrived early and two this morning. He had more than fun opening all of these baskets - especially when he found out that his eggs were filled with food! :0) Gramma and Grandpa Perry came up for a slumber party with us...gave mom and dad a date night and celebrated Easter today! It was so much fun to have them around and share Connor's 1st Easter with them.

Auntie Karly Visits.

Ocean Beach

Connor  hearts Auntie Karly

Walking the Boardwalk

...still going...

...and he is so proud of himself!

All done. :0)

Hiking Torrey Pines

Aunt Bebe, Auntie Karly, Connor and Mom

hahaha

All I want for my 1st birthday is a dog.

From earlier posts you can see Karly has been visiting...She extended her flight and stayed 5 days!!! It was so awesome to have her here. For those of you who stalk our blog and don't know her, she has been my friend for 20 years...so now she is more like a sister and deserves the title Auntie! Connor loves her - it was really cute as he would wake up in the mornings and look for her :0) We wish she lived closer so we could play together all the time!
Its official...Connor is a walker. Two full days now (Wednesday and Thursday) he has had two modes of transportation, walking and mom carrying him! It is kind of sad not to see my little boy crawling around - I loved watching him crawl so fast, with his head down and his little butt going side to side so quickly or his bear crawl!
