Each year we switch off who we will be spending Christmas with...This year we are hoping for a white Christmas with Mike's parents in Big Bear! However, now that there is a grandchild involved nobody wants to miss out on having a Christmas with Connor - So, last Saturday my parents flew in for an early Christmas with Connor. It felt like a real Christmas...we had cold weather with on and off rain, we went to pick out a Christmas tree (yes at a Rite Aid parking lot - got to support OB :D!), decorated the tree, Connor opened up all his presents from Grandma and Papa, plus a few that had come in the mail...you can't stop a toddler from opening presents once he finds out there is something fun for him inside! Connor spent hours playing, completely skipped his nap he was so happy to be with Grandma, Papa, cousin Rollie and all his new toys! I made a special dinner for us all and a yummy cheesecake! It was such a wonderful day - I could not ask for more since it is always hard to be away from your family for the holidays! We love you Grandma, Papa and Rollie! Thanks for making the trip to see us and for spoiling Connor!
