Connor had his first hike in a backpack! He loved every second of it...As you can see. 

Thanks to our friends Michelle and Scott for letting us borrow this awesome backpack. We are in search of one for our family - so it was on a test run...hopefully we will get one soon. It made hiking so much better (Dad can carry him too now ;)!!!)

Thank you to Andy for turning another year older...we went snowboarding to celebrate and ate lots of yummy cheesecake (Brit should open her own Cheesecake Factory)!

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Perry for coming up to the cabin for the day to watch Connor, so Mom and Dad could snowboard together. It was awesome - Connor loved playing with them and Mike and I enjoyed an entire day together for the first time since Connor was born!

There is never a dull moment around here. 

As you can see...I posted lots of standing pictures because I can't believe it! This lil guy is only 8 months and a big boy. He has been doing it periodically for about a week, but now it is constant-no wobbling and a controlled fall to his bottom! He is growing too fast.

Sorry for the clothing :0) He has become a seriously messy easter so we were half dressed! Don't you want to squeeze them thighs though? Awwww...I love them!

Bath Time

Well...as you can see Connor is keeping us busy. He went from eating mashed up banana, to pieces of banana and now he wants the whole darn thing. Not only bananas, he wants to put everything in his mouth. He just realized when I open the front door, being outside is way cooler. He becomes super speedy, crawling outside just to find some dirt to eat! No day goes by without Connor getting a bath - he is getting much too dirty and we are realizing why clothing companies even make white clothing for kids!

We enjoyed an entire weekend at the beach watching the Rincon Classic Surf Contest

Nothing is better than...spending the weekend as a family in your swimsuit...smelling like sunscreen...tasting like salt water...feeling sand between your toes...watching our soon to be little grom crawl around exploring the ocean...and of course watching good surf!

Oh yeah I forgot to mention...Its January and 75 degrees :0)

I think it is time to begin potty training. HA - I wish. 

I couldn't resist taking pics of Connor this morning playing in the bathroom. About a week ago he learned how to spin the TP roll, but today he learned how to pull it off...wasting the entire roll. I just laughed as he laughed at himself, but I am sure I will not think it is funny for long when I am running to the store all the time to buy more tp!

MAMA

Mama, Mama, Mama...

As of yesterday Connor is saying Mama :0) Yesterday afternoon Connor was crawling around the living room and crawled up to my lap, looked up at me and said MAMA! I wanted to cry, it was so rad! It has been about 6 weeks now that Connor has been saying Dada and I always wondered what Mike was feeling when Connor would call him Dada...Now I know and I am so happy to be a Mom!

HI FRIENDS...

Sorry I have lagged on a post this week. Connor is doing good - He has had a fun week playing with lots of his friends. We are finally getting back to our grove of play dates after the busy holidays. This morning we started swim lessons and Connor loved it...I did too, watching him laugh, splash and kick was so much fun. Nobody was there to take pics so next week hopefully I will get some photos up for you as Dad will be there too.

Here are two photos of us trying to capture pics of Connor's top teeth. Dad was tickling him to make him laugh and show off his new chompers. Can you believe he got all top 4 at the same time? And mom has had no sleep!? :0)

Ringing in the New Year couldn't have been any better! Well there were a few friends we were missing that could have made it even better. 

Mike, Connor, Uncle Mike and I cruised down to Cardiff to stay at Andy's place for a few days and celebrate New Year's with friends. I was in heaven as you can tell - I had too many pictures I liked, so sorry I posted lots. We were surrounded by people we love, good surf, awesome sunsets, yummy food and drinks :0) and of course an amazing house that nobody ever wants to leave. I wish it did not have to end so fast...we are looking forward to our next one in Kauai :0)
