The Greatest Gift from God

It's Monday morning and majority of people are heading out to work...I use to be in that majority, but now I am blessed more than ever and get to wake up to snuggle the cutest little boy ever. I can not believe how lucky I am and never thought I could be so happy or feel more loved in my life. Each day Connor wakes up there is something new I fall in love with! In the beginning I just enjoyed starring at him, talking to him and kissing his little toes and every inch of his face :0) !!! But over the last few days its a been a bit different...When we wake up Mommy still stares, talks and kisses Connor, but now he loves to smile back and coo! It makes my day to kiss him and see him smile! I also love singing to him, making funny faces and tickling him to make him smile!!! I cherish each moment I have with him and will never take it for granted...I feel so blessed to be a mommy! Having a little boy is the greatest gift from God!

Surf Trip

It seems like it had been forever since Mike and I headed to Ventura for a beach morning where Mike would surf and I would walk the boardwalk pregnant! We had been missing those mornings and it was now time to share it with Connor. What an awesome morning - early style we drove 101 south with RoCo coffee, Jack Johnson and our new edition Connor :0) !!! Mom and Connor walked while Dad surfed! Then we decided it was time for Connor to really meet the ocean- so we dipped his bubbly toes in the water! HA~ it was so awesome... his little toes curled up and he screamed! He was not so sure of the ice cold ocean!

Connor is loving life! He got to celebrate his one month birthday weekend with his hot aunties from orange county :0) !!!! Happy 1 month Birthday to Connor!!!

Kendy and Brittinny came up for the weekend to keep me company while Mike is out sailing with the boys! What amazing girlfriends...I miss them and love them to pieces! It was a busy, fun, hot and memorable weekend - not to mention many firsts for mom out on the town! Us girls took Connor to the Solstice Parade :) fun times...of course we had to drag him around shopping state street and then for his offical one month birthday party we went to the beach :0) He loved his Aunties...smiling like crazy, took awesome naps (through the whole parade - which was super loud I will add) and had the best night sleeps ever (makes mom really happy!) :0) I cant get enough of this cute little peanut of mine! Thats right....Connor is now 10 lbs! He is becoming a little man! Each second Mike and I are having fun noticing new things about him - He LOVES to smile and is starting his own little laugh! He makes lots of fun faces and noises... the lower pout lip is no fun - a bit sad, but cute too! He is just so much fun to hang out with. I am so thankful I get to be an at home mom and experience all his 1sts! He is a cutie...Here are some pics of him at 3 weeks old!

Our Sleep Monster

Connor was a sleep monster today! And he has offically discovered his thumb :0) He didnt even wake to the ocean breeze during our picnic...he was bundled up in two blankies that his Aunt Kendy made and his cute beach baby beanie thats way to big still :0) Hopefully he will sleep tonight ;)

2 week Birthday!

Connor had his two week checkup today with the doc! He is 9 lbs and healthy! :0) We celebrated his birthday by going on our first walk (the stroller wheels are finally dirty :) !!!) as well as practiced our paddling on our surf board - it will be a while before we can start practicing our pop-ups!!!
