Mike has had this board for over two years and just rode it for the first time last weekend. So before he waxed it up to take it out and get a few birthday barrels I had to take some photos of Connor playing on it. He has got to learn the smell and feel of a surfboard if he wants to be the next top surfer from SB ;0)

On Sunday, our lil family went to the halloween celebration put on by PEP. It was a fun night listening to kids rock by Hot Lava and hanging out with friends. Connor was so stinkin cute as a little pirate :0) 

Mikes Birthday Weekend - So far.

Mikes birthday is Monday, but of course we had to celebrate it all weekend :0) And there is no better way to celebrate than surfing when it is so gosh darn beautiful!!! I was not going to post until Mikes birthday celebrations were over. But I am obsessed with photos and thought these needed to be shared.

Yesterday we went to the pumpkin patch with our PEP group. It was really hot, so we were not even there long enough to buy a pumpkin...too worried Connor would turn into a lobster and that's not what we planned for his costume on his 1st halloween! I am not the fastest at finding a pumpkin - its gotta be perfect and there are a lot of pumpkins to choose from ;) !!! However we managed to get a few photos!

Connor 5 months.

I forgot to mention that Connor turned 5 months today. I hope you enjoy these naked 5 month photos I took ;) He is one happy and healthy boy. He got some avocado for the first time for dinner for his birthday celebration. I ended up eating it, because he hated it!!! We will keep trying as it was a little disappointing to Mike and I.

I am not sure where to call home sometimes. I still call my parents home, but I also call Santa Barbara home. I love them both and I think its because of the people. :0) I guess we are lucky and have two homes!!!

On Tuesday, Connor took his first trip on the airplane to Roseville :) WOW...It's much different flying with a child. The days of relaxing on a plane - putting head phones on and reading a book are over. The entire plane ride I was entertaining Connor so he would not cry. We had our first flight to San Francisco and the flight attendent offered everyone ear plugs. I thought she was offering because of Connor, but I had forgot how loud those prop planes are - so Connor sported a pair. He was very curious, touching everything and looking around. He did great. We had a lay over of 35 minutes so when we got off the plane and headed for the bathroom to change his diaper. Over the loud speaker my name was called because the gate was closing! WHAT!? Needless to say everyone on the plane was waiting for me and then as I arrived I was holding a baby - nobody smiled. HA. But he was awesome again. SOOO good the guy next to me slept the whole way. It has been a good trip so far...busy busy - hanging out with family that I wish lived so much closer.

ANOTHER MILESTONE...

Connor got his two bottom teeth last night at 1:30am! :D YEA! He was screaming at the top of his lungs and sure enough I put my little finger in his mouth to find his teeth came in!

It was a wonderful weekend with family and friends here visiting. Connor was awesome - He showed them that he can crawl...He is only 4 1/2 months and I am so sad he is growing up too fast. He had been doing a scoot before Saturday, so it was a suprise to Mike and I as well - it was fun to share the moment as everyone was cheering for Connor and so excited for him!

I wish we could have our family and friends closer to us. We are loving SB and making new friends, but old friends and family are hard to come by! So thank you to those of you who come to visit! We love you.
