About a month ago we took family photos with a very patient photographer in SD, Jennifer, Photography by jlc! Connor decided he would skip his nap that day and cry almost the entire session :(, not what a mom wants after trying to prepare for a family session (at least I know what stress my clients go through :D). She did an awesome job trying to capture his happier moments! I am so glad we got some photos of our family together to show the love of we have already for this baby girl who we are getting so excited to meet. Connor sure does love his "baby sister" :D

Night Night Friends

 

As my belly is growing, I have been trying to change our nap time routine because it is not so comfy anymore having my 32 lb snuggler rolling on my tummy until he falls sleep. I am miss all the cuddling, but it is also so cute to watch him sleep with all his favorite animals. Today was the best - Connor picked out all of this friends he wanted to sleep with and I put them in his crib, he gave me a hug and kiss and as I walked out of the room he started kissing and signing all of them the night night song - two minutes later he was silent and I went in to snap this photo! I don't think I could sleep so peacefully with so many friends in my bed, but he loves it ;D!

 Connor got his first big ouchie from doing a happy dance about the potty ;D. Booooom right into the wall!!! Thank you to Gramma for buying cool boo boo ice packs so Connor could keep his mind off of it - I knew there was a reason for those to chill in the freezer for the past 6 months ;D He still has a bump and its been about two weeks now :(

  This past weekend we headed to Santa Barbara...stayed at a friends house who is out of town, but they have a beautiful new baby girl. Connor loved playing with her toys as you can see - I think he might fight his sister for them ;D. We got to spend lots of time with friends and their kids - It was the most beautiful weekend, so of course we lived at the beach! :D

30 Weeks in the Womb

Mike, Connor and I enjoyed 20 minutes of watching our little girl/baby sister play in the womb :D! She was so cute and completely awake the entire time. She was smiling, opening her eyes, drinking, sucking on her toes and thumb, covering her eyes and ears, and moving all about. Connor enjoyed pushing my belly with the woman giving the ultrasound to try to get his little sister to move as well as looking at her on the big screen. There was also moments of wanting to jump of the huge couch they had in the room, run out of the room...so Mike was wonderful and patient with Connor trying to keep him entertained during the ultrasound. Mike and I are so happy to see her look so happy and healthy in my belly and look forward to meeting her so soon!
